- Minimum Length = 12 characters.
- Must contain at least one alpha character (Aa - Zz).
- Must contain at least one digit (0 - 9) OR one special character.
- 24 unique new passwords must be created before an old password may be reused.
- Passwords expire after 60 days.
- Password minimum age is 24 hours.
- "Password will expire in X days" warning is displayed for the 10 days prior to expiration.
- Accounts are locked after 3 failed login attempts.
- Users with expired passwords have a limited number of opportunities to create a new password.
- When the expired passwords are exhausted the account is locked.
- The Account Manager at the managing dispatch can reset passwords for locked accounts
- Users may also register for the automated ROSS Password Reset Service
- The ROSS Helpdesk can not reset passwords.
